Making a contemporary entrance IN Southborough

The impact of lighting in a project can be quite dramatic if it is used in a creative way. I remember meeting a theatrical lighting engineer at a party once and hearing how he used light to build all manner of effects on stage. From the simplest of products he was able to create the illusion of dappled afternoon light in courtyards, or the formality of a Greek temple on a bright summers day. He stressed how you needed to think through the concept then look to ways you can recreate it.

AN URBAN RETREAT IN ST ALBANS

A rather ordinary town garden in St Albans has been transformed into a stunning contemporary outdoor space befitting the grandeur of our clients house. A beautiful oak pergola designed by us became the centrepiece of the scheme. To compliment this and add some tranquility to the setting a long narrow pond was installed with a copper fountain at the far end.

A STUNNING MOROCCAN SHOW GARDEN

Designing a Show Garden in a space of just 5m x 4.8m really focuses the mind! And this was the task that George Sykes set himself when he revisioned our spot at Corker Outdoor Living’s Paddock Wood amazing outdoor exhibition.

A GARDEN FOR ALL THE FAMILY IN SPELDHURST

This house had undergone a major refit a couple of years prior to our involvement. However, the garden was sidelined as a future project. A major consideration was the height difference between the garden which sat behind a wall some 1.5m higher than the rear of the house. So consequently the clients felt disinclined to use the garden.

A garden for entertaining

An amazing garden design from our colleagues at Andy Stedman Design landed with us to deliver the project management, construction and planting. This was for a couple in Paddock Wood who had purchased a new build with a surprisingly large garden.

a Japanese Courtyard in norfolk

A strong idea can be interpreted throughout a garden design, both in its structure, furniture and planting. With this project our client followed the Japanese theme through into their adjoining office furnishings and decor.

A town garden for grown ups

We have recently been working on a project in the centre of Tunbridge Wells where the space is just under 100sqm. It’s a nice terraced house with a part walled garden, mainly laid to lawn, with a small terrace you’d find it hard to fit a table and chairs on.

a FRONT GARDEN TRANSFORMATION in RUSTHALL

The owners of a charming and picturesque Edwardian house, located in the highly sought-after Rocks area of Rusthall, expressed a desire to revisit and enhance the design of their front entrance. Their main goals were to improve both the visual presentation and ease of access to the property, ensuring that it not only looked inviting but also functioned well for guests and residents alike.
